body movements. We use the large muscles of the body to perform everyday activities such as
sitting, crawling, walking, running and jumping. Gross motor skills helps us learn how to
control our body movements. Gross motor skills also help lay the foundation to be able to complete
fine motor skills such as drawing writing, pinching or grasping.
